Received check from insurance now what?

I'm not sure what your situation was slumlord but my wife just went through State Farm about 4 months ago when she was rear ended. They gave us a check for 5 grand we deposited and the repairs ended up being 6 grand. We went back to them for the extra thousand and got a check in the mail 2 days later.
We had a Hail Storm last May and were lucky the H3 was in the garage, the house and garage weren't as lucky. We had over $20,000 worth of damage and State Farm was great to work with, I highly recommend them!
Also a couple years ago my wife had an orange construction barrel jump out in front of her car. State Farm paid for all damages, they even paid the Dept. of Transportation for the damaged barrel!
