Default Rear Turn Signals flash together

Hi all, I am a proud new owner of a 99 H1. I just got the truck and soon find a problem. When I switched the signal light, the front were working fine, but both rear signals will flash together regardless whether I flashed left or right turn. I dont think this is normal, where should I look to fix the problem?

Did the problem start after you replaced the rear lights?

Default tail signal

I just bought the car and it come like this, so I have no idea where to check. Also I noticed the two big tail lights wont light up when I turn on the running light, they will only on during braking and both side will flash when I flipped the signal lever.

Sounds like you may have some wiring swapped around. Are the rear tail lights led? Where are you located?

Default rear lights

The car is in the shop for fluid change, I can not tell whether they re LED or not now. But I know the front is LED already, so may be they want both side to flash together to increase the load? How do you take out the rear tail light? do I ve to pull the rear wheel well out? I located in Los Angeles.
