I just purchased a rear tire carrier. It came off a 2008 H2. I ordered a new bumper, bumper cover, center cover plate and light harness for tag. Now here is the problem. Is there a connector to plug the light in under the back bumper of my 04? I'm also adding the lights to the bumper end caps. I have the wiring already for the bumper lights. Is there a plug in for those too? Thanks

 

There is, and there may be a blank plugged in there with nothing connected to it. Here is the thread where I went through the same thing your trying to do, VegasGuy took some images and I did as well.

Thanks. I have the OEM light harness that goes in the OEM rear tire carrier.So it has the pigtail already. Thanks for the info. I will let you know if it works.

 

A 2 year old thread I realize.

Anyone know how this install went?

I have an 08 external tire mount with the OEM wiring harness for my 03. I have yet to tap/drill the 3rd hole on the passenger side. Before I proceed I want to confirm this will plug in.

Aside from the tow hooks not forming nicely to my 03 and confirming that this harness can plug in without issue I'm at a standstill.

Any help would be great
