The driver's side rear fender flare's seal has become tucked in at the rearward top corner. I am concerned water will get in their and the fender will rust underneath prematurely. This is a 2009 h3 Adventure package still with warranties but the nearest place to take it is 2 hours away. SHould I attempt to remove and reinstall the flare?

 

you can reach it by laying down, flashlight, i had to repair a gas cover and reached up to do it.

it might push back in,,??

try a thin wood strip, shim, no scratches.

othertwize,worry not. those nice strips touching metal will,in time, be the source of rust on all h3 as they will store moisture where they make a not perfect seal! matter of time.
