Default Rear Defrost

So when I bought my H3 a couple of years ago I asked the dealer to check the rear defrost as it barely worked. They claimed it was fine...at this point I can't get it to remove anything from the window... fogging this morning was bad after I removed the ice but the defrost didn't do anything (can see the wires but no fogging removed past that).

The light on the dash comes on when i push in the button- Any thoughts on where to start looking to fix this?

I apologize, I did a search and nothing came up. I see where the same question was posed last year but no-one responded.

On one of the other forums someone found a loose connector at the defrost grid. If the connection isn't good then maybe it's not getting full power.

you can pull the trim and check for 12v on the heat element/connections.
