RAYVYN AND SHORTBUS WHERE ARE U
looks nice, i like that color. as you can probably tell, i'm not a big fan of chrome, but it doesn't look like you've overdone it. i kinda like the stock stance, with the rake angle. i had mine level for a while, but figured i could live with the tires rubbing the plastic fender well and lowered it back close to normal. still, the important part is that you like it.
Looks sharp and I do like the leveled stance... I am not a chrome fan either but on the blues it is the only way to go... I am wondering why the smaller tires though... I know the factory tires are 31's and the adventure pack is 33's but I have not heard of anyone running 32's... I was thinking 35's would look nice but can't afford the torque they wouls steal so just not going to think about them too much...
Thanks rayvyn ya i made a mistake they are 33 offroad factory tire with the levling kit they say i can get 35 in there but i already had the rims.I am not sure how much more power the bigger the tire will take with the 5 cyl. The bigger the better i had a ford f250 with 44 on it ya i did the chrome because of the blue other wise if i had a differant color i would of not put chrome on and i would save a lots of money but with that color i did it.
Yes I ran some oversized tires on a Tacoma I had (underpowered too) and it all but killed my torque/HP... I guess more so HP because on the highway in cruise it would go from 75-65 just heading up a small incline... Not good at all... I think in an auto you could remap the shift points via the computer but you would at least kill your gas mileage so what's the point?? Beyond the look, the 35's will add 1 inch of possible clearance and 1 1/2 inches to the vertical 16 inches you can climb now... Not enough of a gain to really warrant the pain in the butt or the layout of dockets...
