do the K12 series have the duramax?

 

6.5 TD. Magnum...how much for the K12s?

 

I heard they are about $65k each from AMG so there's quite a mark-up happening (if that number is correct).

Hell if they are 65K each I may have just bought another Hummer. How are they equipped? Are there any open tops?

 

I bet you could order whatever you wanted (?) but it would have to be a fleet/bulk sale. The amount of $$ GM was inflating the h1's price was redonkulous. Funny how when the h2 came out it was offered at about the same price the h1 was in the mid 90's while the h1 doubled with few upgrades to '04 and nearly tripled for the alpha. The biggest price jump was just before the h2 was released in '02 the msrp jumped $20k!

The K series was introduced in November, 2001. there were 2 fleet open tops made in 02, 1 in '03, and open top fleet was not offered in 04 or 06, sorry 3hummers. but in 06 there were 20 fleet wagons, 14 fleet trucks (2 door), and 2 fleet 4 door hardtop with truck bed.

 

the K-12 series trucks have the alpha interior with the 6.5 TD, the collecter is asking 130,000.00 a truck (OUCH) but for a unique,limited Hummer who is to say he's crazy? I'm sure he will eventualy find some buyers(probley over seas)anyways thought I would let you guys know.I recently contacted a friend at AMG on oredering a fleet of 20 K-12 trucks, I was told it is not possible for the civilian market, only for government application(border patrol, police, homeland security, ect.)

 

That's is what AMG had told me also.

 

For 130K I think I would get another Alpha.

 

what police dept.s use H1s??
