I Have a 03 H2 that stalls while driving a low speeds can even make it to free way with out It dying on me. I replaced the camshaft position sensor since I need to replace the intake gaskets also the air filter, plugs and wires still the same issues and now seems like it wants to stall at idle revving it up a 1500rpm letting off the gas to let it return to idle then it will fluctuate between 1000 and about 600 rpm then return to a consistent idle again. not sure where to go from here besides checking the fuel pressure at the rails and replacing some coils. Not sure what the spec is for pressure at the rails are? any ideas what would cause this

Just trying to get a few more years out of the 6.0L before I pull the trigger 6.6L LBZ Duramax Swap.

 

When you replaced the cam sensor it is imperative to use an OEM quality part. Lots of issues with the cheap parts store sensors. I would suggest to clean the throttle body real good. Any codes stored?

 

I'd also make sure the MAF is installed correctly and is good.

I always go with AcDelco replacement parts, haven't had any codes will definitely clean the throttle body also do an all systems scan see if anything will come up possibly related I will update after this

Also had a mention of bad gas because the h2 was sitting for a year before I tried driving it again

 

Year old gas will cause issues start there first
