Radio Died?? Any suggestions is greatly appreciated!

On my list of "maybe someday" is to replace my Stock stereo with a single din head unit and an in dash CB setup. If my stock stereo died I'd use this as an excuse to move forward with this idea. You may have no desire for adding a CB, but this may be a good opportunity to step up to a better aftermarket setup. I agree the sounds is pretty nice for a stock setup, I've had issues with it not being as good at picking up a clear radio station as other car stereos and there are some fairly common features I wish it had such as mp3 input. If it's as easy as getting it out of theft lock mode then staying stock is by far the cheaper route, but I thought I toss out the "opportunity to upgrade" idea.

Thanks for all the responses everyone. My problem finally resolved and Ill let you know what I did in case anyone in the future has the same strange problem.
Well I tried disconnecting my battery and looped them together for an hour. Reconnected them and still no luck.
Being desperate, I left them off overnight and ziptied them together. THe next morning put them on and my stereo was back to normal.
Havent had any problems since then. I guess it just needed an extended reset?
Thanks for all the help.
