I have a H1 wagon, and I am looking forward to getting back from Iraq in a few days....maybe. I know that the doors are bolted on and not like the military ones that just lift out. I can deal with unbolting them. But has anyone tried to make a butt-end connector set up for the wiring that goes in the door? I mean, so that when I want to take them off or put them on, I can just plug or unplug the wires quickly without disassembling the door. Im not worried about the interior lights or open door sensor, I can bypass that easily.

 

I have read/heard of others doing that but have not done or seen it myself.

 

anyone else go down this route?

would be nice if their was a connected could solder up and quick connect/disconnect.
