Earlier this week I did an oil change on my '06 H3. Found a loose outer tie rod end. Started looking on-line and found there are two options, 14mm and 16mm. So checking this forum I found out you can easily update to 16mm ends. With 155k miles I assumed they have been changed and updated to 16mm at one time. Wrong. Good thing I checked. Here is my $5 question. Will the 14mm boots on the rack stretch out over the 16mm inner ends or do the boots need to be changed with the tie rods.
