I feel like a dummy, I was cleaning the Hummer and I found a black plastic cover stuck kind of under the seat. I can't figure out where it goes...
Does someone have an assembly manual or something to look it up ?
I ran the part number through a GM search engine and it says it's a cover.
Well Duh I know that....The part number is PN15264935.
And it's on the passenger side...

if it is about four inches square it could be the plastic cover for the seat bolts
There should be two plastic covers over the rear seat attachment bolts

 

dont mean to steal the thread, but my question would have the same thread name lol. but next to the seat. a bit down from the seatbelts, on the side wall beside the seat. i saw this thingy.... its a thingy with another thingy attached to it with a cord thingy. has a picture of a booklet with an " i" on it. both sides of the car.

anyone know what its for? only discovered it when i was cleaning the car

 

Yes I know what that thingy is.
The shoulder seatbelt strap goes through it. Works well for kids.
Lowers the shoulder strap so it goes across a short persons shoulder instead of their forhead.

Yeah it was a cover for the bolts holding the back of the seat down...
