Does anyone remember off hand what code is set when the
dreaded bad head occurs ? My check engine light greeted me this
morning when I started the truck....I will run home at lunch and
scan it to see what it is...
2006 H-3 with 43k miles on it....

I went home and read a P0301.....any ideas ?

 

That is a missfire on Cylinder #1. Could be a bad spark plug, coil, injector, vacuum leak.

 

PO300 Is the one for the head. My colorado did it and so did the hummer...

 

I was getting the missfire code, for both head replacements.

 

Don't know what the code was, but I had my head replaced at 35,000 miles... '07 H3
