Is there a piece of plastic trim that goes across the top of the windshield (where the roof meets the top edge of the windshield)?

On mine (recently bought used), the edge of the glass is exposed. It looks as though there should be some type of trim going from pillar to pillar across the top edge of the windshield.

Just looked at mine. There is a plastic strip across the top of my windshild.

 

There is a strip across the top. After my pillar moldings were replaced a few months later that specific top molding had come loose about 1/3 across the top. Still under warranty the dealer had resealed that molding including replacing a driver side a/c vent which one of the deflectors had broke. I didn't like the mark they left with the screw driver to pop out the vent but it is very minimal.
