You don't think that would get way too much resonance in the cab? I may give that a shot, but I don't know how "boomy" it would get on the freeway if I dumped it under the cab. Thanks for the idea though!

 

Its not gonna stock sound stock,but it will sound badazz,deep and bassy. I would take advantage of that V8.

 

If you dump it under the cab, you won't pass the state safety inspection.

 

State safety inspection? Don't have that here in FLA, must be one of those things in those socialist states.

 

Its not that big a deal, they check lights, tires, brakes etc more so you aren't killing other people. Exhaust must exit in a location that is not under the passenger compartment so you don't get the carbon monoxide poisoning and pass out while driving.

 

When we lived in VA we had the inspections to worry about (not here in OH though). I had the exhaust on my Ram dump out under the bed just past the cab area. I don't advise putting it under the cab with/without a state inspection though. It was very loud in the cab on acceleration and HWY speed. Sounded bada$$ but after a 30 mile trip down the HWY had a slight headache.
