I was looking at the (new to me) web area for each dealership for GM accessories and my dealers cost (not installed) are higher than the installed prices at other dealers.
I asked my dealership if there cost was higher from GM to them, my sales guy said he didn't know. What's up with that? Seems that all costs to dealers should be the same or close to allow for fair competition, anyone know the real scoop?
I don't think he likes me anymore since I told him that I have a "friend's certificate"

 

Their cost is probably the same, but they are just marking it up more than other dealers. I bought my nerf bars from the parts dept at my dealer, the same bars were on ebay so I told him ebays price and he matched it. They can charge whatever they want so shop around.
