Default Question about grille

I never thought anything about these and just figured they were normal until another Hummer owner asked about them. I have little chrome buttons on my grill that appear to be bolt heads. The other owner's truck didn't have them and I don't see any on any H3s when looking through the gallery either.

Any idea what these are? There is just one on each side. Sorry for the bad picture. Hard to take a picture of chrome.

Thanks Tom. I'm looking for a replacement chrome grille anyway because of a few scratches on this one. So I can get rid of these when I find a new one. Thanks.

Makes me wonder what might have been bolted there though.

You have stumbled upon the Holy Grail of custom grilles.

Yours is in fact the only one like it, hold your head high, an when questioned about said bolts through the Holy Grille, tell them that said feature imputs customness and separates your ride from the usual mundane mass produced plastic fake chrome grilles on ordinary H3s!

Or get rid of it for a new one, if you dare.

Keep those bids coming, boys! I might be able to get me a new and not so rare chrome grille if we get far enough!
