Default Question

I put a 8" lift kit with 38" tires on my sut about 7months ago. I asked the installer what I would have to do to go back stock and he said that I can't, because there was some cutting involved. I called bulletproof suspension which was the brand that i bought and they said you can do some fabrication to go back stock. If I can't find anyone local who does that type of fabrication, can I just purchase the parts from GM that were cut? Has anyone had this done before? If your wondering why I want to go back stock, it's because I don't like how my Sut rides with it lifted.....

Default RE: Question

It would be very costly to go back to stock suspension. The main part cut in order to do the lift is your front diff. You have to cut the top ear off it to raise it, second cut in on your frame which isnt to bad to fix that problem. I have put these back to stock before and it is a pain. Your best bet is to find a good tech, and someone with the same year h2 as yours and yall could trade front diffs and you could use the piece cut out of that frame to weld into yours. I hope this help answer your question, by the way what year h2sut do you have
