A little while ago there was a tragedy with my 2003 H2, I love my hummer and was mortified when I came out of work at lunch to open my door and find black smoke pouring out. The firemen said it looked like there was something with the wiring to the heating element, caught fire but because they are practically air tight there were no flames, smoldered and heat, now there is a whole in the seat, actually a whole were the seat should be and the plastic molding/panels surrounding the area are twisted. We have cleaned it up pretty well and there is nothing wrong other than that (like it is a little thing!!!). My issue is that I cannot find replacement parts, I have looked everywhere, no-one parts out hummers. I did find a replacement seat, wrong color on ebay for 3k, ouch!!
By the way my beauty gets 12.5 mpg in city and 15.5 mpg on freeways (just a response to others asking about the gas usage)

if you cant drive it get some help getting a TEMPORARY seat modded to fit well unuf to get around

i bought seats for $100 at junk yards and any decent mechanic can MAKE it fit!

then ,,,keep pleading!!,,looking,,,

im near s. bend in if i can help

btw, we usually call that the "drivers seat"!!

 

What color do you need I'll be riding around all weekend looking around for some parts myself.

 

To drtom, thank you for your suggestion, my H2 is drivable, I am driving it now, I have some cushions in the seat frame so I am able to have passengers but cannot yet, the seat belt isn't working. I will check out the junk yards around here to get a seat we can use until we find another H2 seat. I am in Puyallup.
To gunsammo2, thank you for your help as well, if you should come accross a front passenger seat my seat color is gray. In my quest for the seat I have come across various parts, what parts are you looking for?

Found what I needed but I still snoop around the junk yards to see what I can find.
