Hummer Girl I was stationed at Camp Lejeune from 1981 to 1988. Thanks for the compliments too. I have family in Buffalo and been to Rochester when I lived in Jville as we would go up there on the weekends to chase girls! You would not believe how big Jacksonville is right now. I couldnt go back as its huge! So I picked Havelock as it is way smaller and slower and that is what I wanted. heck they just byuilt a super highway around Jville too.

Cherry Point was the only place I have ever been that it could be raining on the flightline... and sunny over by VOQ.... there was an imaginary line...
Stayed at the Holiday Inn a few times... made a beer run to the store just down the street and ate in that all you can eat seafood buffetjoint...

It'll be nice to go home for Christmas. But it'll be nice to come back home after a week of rat race..hahahah

That is true about Havelock. The other day I said I wasnt washign the truck as it was raining cats and dogs and by the time I got home (2 miles) they said it hasnt rained all day and it was great out! No more Seafood Joint!
