A friend of mine also has a H3 and this week while we were comparing vehicles I notice his power window controls are in a logical position that are easily accessible. Mine are not, you have to twist your elbow to reach mine. They are set back on the arm rest. If both of these are 2007's why are they different in their position? Do you think I could order new door panels like his to replace mine? Would they be interchangable with out a lot of modifications?

They did make a change during the year. You would have to ask the dealer about replacing them.

 

I'm sure all the plugs are the same. GM just changed the controls to a better position.

 

The Hummer dealership where I purchased my 07' H3 had some early 07's(original door swithches) and mid 07's( with new location of swithches) H3s. The sales crew had no clue of the new modifications/changes...........If you don't do your homework, you would know just as much as the dealership(sales) would now, NOTHING ! The dealership, however would know how much they can stick it to you. Knowledge is Power !
