power streering transmition issues

Default power streering transmition issues

I took my truck to get the power streering transmition replace n came to find out that I have to replace a lot of other stuff


Power streering pump
Power streering transmition
Pitman arm
Tie rods
Axels

Hopefully they stop there lol

Axles? The things you bolt your wheels on? You're being taken for a ride....

Yeah too late now I guess I won't have to replace them down the line

Probably CV axles. I still don't know what a power steering transmission is?

They said they were worn out that needed to be replac

I call that a power steering gear box.

Yeah, it's commonly referred to as a steering gearbox, not a power steering transmission so nobody knows wtf your talking about. The arm on the end is a pitman arm that is a common replacement part. I wonder if it was just the arm that was bad....as for the axles? front or rear? why? leaking? making noise?
