Default Power Steering Flush

Unable to find anything in previous posts...

Anyone do their own power steering flush?

I'm getting prices from $110 - $170 for Power Steering flush. I prefer to do this myself unless there is a special piece of equipment required to do the flush.

Default p s flush ?

i started messing with cars in 1959, ive added fluid but not yet heard of doing a flush. if that fluid is dirty theres something wrong that will repeat itself.

my opinion

If I have the time, I'll write up something similar with pictures for the H3

I agree with drtom I never had to flush a power steering pump, wait actually sometimes when they leak allover the place and then I fix it, I guess that's a flush. Are you doing this as a preventive maintence operation?
