256k and the gremlins just start to show up. You are a lucky guy. I've been dealing with them for a while

Don't get me wrong I had my share while in the Army but I was younger. Now that I retired and aged those things are really getting under my skin. That doggone corner marker leak. All of this time no prob, fast forward to last week. I almost drowned, shortened out my audio converter. If you read my newbie post it was a lil rave.

But I still love the ride. ive come up with the 100% corner marker fix. However I did consider spraying the entire rig with Flex Seal!

But seriously at my age if it ever leaks again I will remove the lights take it to a body shop and have the sunroof and lights all covered with steel, then I will mount markers the way fm should have.

After the leak I joined because I didn't have a clue what happened. Learned real quick from the site.

Try this .
Silicone on the light plug and wire . I found when the chanel for the rain run is dirty the water levels rinse below the light finding his way in thru the plug

Thanks, as a perfectionist and not wanting it to ever leak again and as a boater I took the repair to another level. As soon as I get the part name of the item I used I will post up the how to.

I basically inserted a device that created a lip around the hole first inserted the wire through and the filled it up with the 2nd best Marine grade underwater silicone. I don't expect it will ever leak and the plastic fitting I used will not shrink as the oem grommets did.

I used this site to help identify the problem and just went above.
