Hey all,
New to the forums. Question....As I was driving from Texas back to my home in Florida last night, the door locks decided to start to disengage and engage. Then the nav lights came on then off. Then the Drivers Door Ajar came on the HUD. All of this for about 5 seconds at a time. Ive never had this happen before and at first I was perplexed. I of course went through the 1 billion logical reasons and/or solutions, but nothing worked as everytime I stopped to fuel I would try something different. Roughly, a good 12 hours of this nonsense has me to believe a) faulty sensor ( driver door ) b) faulty switch in arm rest or the illogical c) vehicle possessed by demons.

Has anyone had this happen and if so did you leave it at the church for any extended time ?

There is the AAA approved Church of the Synthetic Savior in Tampa. Highly recommended. 2 for 1 beers during hallelujah hour.
Seriously though, your issues sounded similar to mine when my 3rd party alarm shorted out while I was driving.
Doors unlocked and locked
Dash gauges (except for speedometer) went off (to zero or E or whatever)
I had XM Radio error appear on nav system
I heard door chimes ding

Dealership diagnosed it and cost $400'ish to remove (said it was really all labor hours)

Now she runs like new again

Impossible to help you when we have no idea which vehicle you are talking about. I will move this to the correct section once you spill the beans so you can get some intelligent (intelligent as far as this place goes ) responses.

Until then, I am gonna make a wild guess...... crystal ball in use ......
you have an H3 with a sunroof and had been driving in some rain during your trip or not long before this episode??????

I am betting 10 quatloos that it is an h2
plus a complete set of Jimi Hendrix toenail clippings (10) it is the alarm

My guess is moisture from a leaking marker light. Seems to be the electrical gremlin in most H2s.
