my cd player stopped working!!!!!!!!!!! Its driving me crazyI can not eject any of the cd's. Its a 2006 h3. It will say intializing then do nothing! The radio plays fine on am/fm its just the cd player. If there a way to reset it? Pr just take it to the dealer and let them replace it under warrenty? Any help is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Turn off the radio. Disconnect the battery. Let sit for awhile. Reconnect and try again. Sometimes a reset will get it working again. Otherwise, yeah, take it to the dealer.

 

I tried to disconnect the battery. I honestly dont remeber if the radio was off. Left it for about 15-20 minutes but I know it didnt reset because the radio stations are all still preset. So I guess its to the dealership unless anyone else has an idea. thanks in advance for the help.

Make sure that you disconnected the RED terminal. Other than that, dealer.

 

When in doubt let the dealer replace it under warranty.

I agree with sewee. But sometimes its only works if the radio is aftermarket, they have a reset button behind the faceplate. Press the reset button and that usually resets the radio and ejects the cd. And also warranty is the best solution.
