I was told that if you change your name here you lose your post count. Not sure if that is accurate but what I was told.

 

If the software will work and let me do it, there should be no negative implications of changing a username. i have changed his name.

 

I never told anybody I could change any username. Hell, I haven't received a PM for months, other then you guys asking me to ban people.

how is the site functioning of late?

 

Still slow but problems don't seem to occur as much. May be the lack of activity isn't taxing the system.

 

it isnt a usage issue..we have plenty of bandwidth...the problem is that the tech guys dont have the time to get through the upgrades...but they are getting through them gradually.
