I wonder if truck bed coating would work?? It is easy to spray on and is very durable..

 

Looks Great! Were your wheels chrome or just the stock aluminum? I think I am going to do this. Hate being a copycat though. My wheels are the stock aluminum. Any special prep other than a good cleaning?

 

looks really good - I'll be interested to see how it holds up. I like the murdered out look on the H2 - mine will be getting this treatment in the future.

 

My rims are the all aluminum onces. All it took was a good cleaning. Then dipped the rims and center caps separate. I was amazed at how easy it was. Took all weekend, but most of that was just dry time. You could have it done in half a day if you had all 4 wheels off at once. You should give it a shot!

Rustoleum truck bed coating is another good possibility. GREAT idea. I used a few cans of that stuff for my brush guard about a year ago and it still looks brand new to this day.

 

interesting idea...gotta believe this eliminates the possibility of using a powerwasher on it.

 

I have powerwashed them... by hand a few times so far and also through the automatic. I was a little weary at first too, but this stuff is very durable!

 

I dig it. I really like the simplicity of your truck and the lack of chrome. Im a fan of Hummers that way too.

"Plasti Dip remains flexible and stretchy over time, and will not crack or become brittle in extreme weather conditions. It has been tested and proven in temperatures from -30°F"

So it sounds like it might hold up to a harsh winter
