sorry, i was slackin. if you enter at the southern end of the beach, the dunes we went on are about 3/4 a mile south of the entrance. i think there are signs pointing the way, but i can't remember.good luck. just remember, there aren't a lot of vehicles out there that can pull out an H2, and you'll need a flag.

Can you still enter via the Oceano access next to the airport? It's been a long time since I've been there, but the dunes were about a mile or two south and to the left of the 'Sand Highway' toward Guadalupe; however, much of those dunes have now been converted over to a natural reserve area thanks to the 'ice plant huggers' aka Sierra Club.

I can't wait to take my H2 to Glamis next season. I traded a Polaris Predator for an H2, i wonder if I can make it up comp hill? You figure if a crappy Tacoma could make it up, so could I![8D]

salt will rot steel and cause lots of rust, pressure wash the crap out of the undercarriage and engine compartment, as well as everything else the saltwater touched. where did your windshield leak? mine leaks along the top, been waiting for it to warm up enough to make sure i don't have any moisture in it to seal it along the top edge - again.
