Default A-Pillar covers

What's everybody doing about their a-pillar covers fading. I found OEM replacements for about $110ea, but I'm curious as to what all the other H3 owners are doing with theirs.

I use TW trim restorer.. Cost me 5 bucks and don't take much. Btw, it lasts a long time.

Heat gun
Or just to treat it, I found that Griots Engine Dressing works great.
I am at 2 months in the rainy Florida weather, which also is blistering sun as well. No faded spots, no dripping effect either

I quit trying to treat mine. They look better faded, matches the gray paint.

I used some stuff called "Wipe New". it only took a couple minutes and it turned out great. Going on 5 months since I applied it and no apparent fading.
Bought mine off one of a TV commercial but think Wal-Mart now sell it.

Paint specially made to do trim. I've tried all of the wipe on stuff, nothing lasts.

That heat gun trick is pretty amazing! Took about 10 mins in total, and they look basically brand new! Many thanks.
