its true. ever since first grade in Mrs. Johnsons room, pens flee from me and leave me for other desks, and no matter how many i buy, i never have that abundant reserve that it seems i should.

BTW..Since we are talking about a data inscription instrument...

IF the #2 pencil is used most often, then why isn't it #1?

I was going to seriously answer that question with the reason it is number 2, but then I realised a college edjumakated guy like you would know the correct answer, so instead I will ramble aimlessly about why the #2 isn't #1.

Are you a draftsman, or do you draw with pencils? Or do you just like to do things different with different things?

I agree, no matter how many pens and pencils we buy, it is hard to find one when it is needed. Part of the problem is that no one returns the little devils back to the:

a. counter
b. table
c. desk
d. phone pad
e. computers
