I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on the PCM for less E fan to get the extra 10HP but I wanted to know if the electric fan is much louder than the stock fan? I can remember a few years back there was a youtube video and the e-fan was really loud so I was wondering if there was any change since then to make it a little more quiet?

It is loud when it is on (which is never in the Winter up here in MI), but it pulls a bunch of air. When I say loud, yeah when you are standing outside near the truck, but when you are driving you will only be able to hear it if you listen for it. Windows up at low speed, very hard to hear. Highway speed, you will likely never notice.

So, ask yourself, am I going to be worried about some noise outside the truck while I am standing around, or.... do I intend to be driving it where I won't notice the racket?
