My passenger tail light is out. Brake works but not running light. Changed the bulb, checked fuses, connection etc... Still does not work??

Ive had my 03 H3 in the dealershop twice, just picked it up today finally fixed (i hope). Same issue, rear passenger tail light out, buld good. First time dealership replaced the fuse and everything was fine for a day or so. Then the fuse blew again.

Over the next week i went through a fuse a day. Finally was able to get back to the dealership yesterday.

They found a wire rubbing against the frame causing the short. On the work order description it said "3 inches from the connector". Anyhow.. im hoping this time its finally resolved.

 

I had that exact problem.. for me it was a wire pinched between the frame and the body during mfg. This also caused a problem with the tow lights hookup. Jumped a wire from the left side, increased the size of the fuse and it has been fine for 2 years.

 

I had this same problem. Put a multimeter on it and had voltage. I removed the bulb and bent the little metal tab inside the connector that contacts the bulb when it is connected.....no problems since.
