Passenger door creak?

i've heard that wd-40 is corrosive, but haven't seen any problems. however, i use 3-in-1 oil for all the hinges now.

i think it is not very good i have a fleet of taxis and in the old days i used wd40 all the time on hinges but i was still changing door pins quite often but now that i switches to graphite or sometimes 3 in one i have not had to change door pins even half as much as before

i do not use wd40 for any lubrication only for unsticking rusty bolts

I just came from Home Depot, and they have spray silicone Bob, perfect for what you need..

Hi Dennis I just noticed on my 2006 H3 that my drivers door is making a creaking grinding noise and I believe it's the [The flat metal shaft that couples the door to the frame..wipe a little vasoline all over it.] Do you think something got loose? Not sure if anyone else ran into this issue. thanks,paul

Dennis was kicked out of here 6.5 years ago. You gotta LOOK how old a thread is BEFORE you post.
