I have been searching all around the web and I have sent multiple requests for estimates over the last weeks for an estimate on a plain triple black gloss paintjob and no one has answered me...does anyone know how much this could go for? It is a2005Hummer H2 SUT

Yes,

Anywhere from $1000 if you sand it yourself, to $15000 for show paint. You get what you pay for.

Gorilla, In Socal you would be looking at $1500.00 to $2,000.00.

$1500 sounds like MAACO to me. A very good friend of mine (orangecrush) owns a body shop, his "cheap" all over paint job starts at $4000 and closer to $5500 for an H2. Color change usually adds $500 but on an H2 you'd probably have to pull the engine so it would be considerably more.

$4000!!! are you kidding me and btw the car is already black but it needs to be repainted...who said I wanted to have pearlescent or candy paint? That would look nice though

I repainted mine the same color and had well over $1500 in materials...no labor.
I'm sure you could have it painted cheap but you get what you pay for.

I really want a good paintjob just that 4500 doesnt sound very cheap

Oh, did you do the painting of the bumper corners and all?? Great Job!!

Alot od SANDING probably went into that!!!
