For those of you that have used the Pac OS-2 and CH-1 on your H3 with the monsoon system.. how is the sound quality? Is there any alternator whine or popping noises? Is the sound from you cd player good quality? I bought a Metra GMOS-04 from circuit city and it was horrible...

 

The sound quality is great butfor Onstar users you may havea whine sound, but since I don't have Onstar at this moment not it is not a problem for me.

 

the metra is a decent unit but the sound quality is only as good as the ground. The gain on the pac can be turned down if you are getting an alternator hiss.

 

I have a peripheral set-up for monsoon with door chime.. i will sell it cheap..
