I have an H3 Alpha with 118K miles. 3/16 I got a P0430 code and it cost me $971 for the Converter, $289 labor. I also had new spark plugs put in and a throttle body service. Today P0420 code comes on and dealer tells me it will be $1016 part and $415 labor. HELP! I just paid the same amount 10 months ago.

i told them I wanted the whole thing replaced because if there is a right and left side, it will go out one after the next. Any suggestioins? I cant pay this again.

 

Sounds like the opposite side is clogged now.

For $900 that would only be one side.

 

A Dealer would be the LAST place I would go for service.
