Oxidized fender flares

I was having bad oxidation/dulling problems with my fender flares on my 06 H3. I tried rubbing compound and polish both with a machine polisher but to no avail. So I went with this:

Clay bar
2000 grit wet sand
3000 grit wet sand
Fine cut cleaner with wool pad
Rubbing compound with microfiber pad
Machine glaze with soft foam pad
Sealed it all in with a hard shell carnauba wax

Turned out purty

that turned out good... my rear fenders are sun faded and hoping i can bring them back to life.. The roof is also sun faded and tiny bubbles... Looking to wrap that as a temp fix... the FL heat and hummer paint don't seem to mix well....

I need to do mine but have never done something like that. Is it easy to mess it up worse?
