Fortunately, the only problem I had was fixing and repainting the hood. That cost about $950. Everything else is fine, as far as I know.
FYI, it was the differential breather hose, not the brake hose.

Super pictures! That looks just like mine, except yours is cleaner and I think the tires have more tread. Just looking at those pictures makes me want to go out and sit in mine.

Thanks ... I like pictures. I have a collection of pictures of all of our cars and bikes from the past. Sadly, I wasn't that way in high school ... I have virtually no photos of the cars I had in high school ... a '67 true RS Camaro and a '70 true SS396 Chevelle back in the early '80's ...man I wish I still had those cars.

Those tires are original believe it or not ... 43,500 on her now. The only issue with the truck when I bought it was the door panel and floor trim pieces were discolored from a poor detailer ... they almost looked like they used a cleaner with bleach in it. The seller dropped it $2,500 and I spent $150 with free shipping for a brand new door panel on Ebay and $25 on a two floor trim pieces. She is a new as one can get.

One great thing about the '08/'09 models is that alot of left over new OEM parts are still available. You cannot say that about the '07 and older H2's.

That one sure looks nice. However, it might be the color that attracts me. The miles are super and I notice that it doesn't appear to have the nav system or back-up camera.

Yep, no NAV and that will definitely hurt the sale, but it does have a backup camera .... it is the display that "pops out" the side of the rear view mirror ... great miles though. For me, the SUT is just not as convenient as the SUV.

Nice catch Brian. I forgot about the "pop out" mirror. What do you think about the price?

I use it on trips, but mainly purchase vehicles with it for resale value ... the wife's G37 has it as well.

The NAV option is the only way to get the in-dash rear view camera in the H2 (someone correct me if I am wrong).

In the G37, it is the only way to get the rear view camera, 600-watt Bose audio ad the 9.2GB music box.

It is priced at retail then add $500-$1,000 doc fee and sales taxes on top of that ... too much for me. I don't buy unless it's private sale and somewhere between "average trade-in" and "clean trade-in". Don't be fooled though, "trade-in" values are not the amounts a dealer gives for a trade-in .... the amount a dealer gives is "Black Book".

This philosophy has changed in Georgia ... the Georgia dealers have lobbied for a new Georgia law that is going into effect March 2013. The State will replace the sales tax (not collected on private sales) with a title tax that is due upon registration in the amount equal to the previous sales tax for ALL newly registered cars whether purchased at a dealer or privately. This is the way Georgia dealers have leveled the playing field with private sellers.

Read what I wrote carefully ... "ALL newly registered cars"! That means if you move to Georgia after March 2013, you will have to pay a 7% (6.5% in 2013) title tax based on the FMV of what you are registering. If I were to move to Georgia after March 2013, it would cost me $5,000 to register all my vehicles!

This is why I changed all our vehicles in the past 12 months ... the wife's car, my H2 and the Street Glide.
