I am a former H3 owner now driving an H3T. Does anyone know if the sound quality of the H3T stereo is any different than the sound of the H3s Monsoon system? Believe it or not, I have an opportunity to trade up my base H3T for a 2009 H3T Adventure Package which comes with the 6 CD Monsoon system. Obviously the big upgrade is the front and rear lockers. Still weighing out the price difference to see if it makes sense to do this. Anyone in Florida want to buy a used black H3T with 1400 miles? Now is your chance to get a screaming deal from me LOL!

 

My sound system seems pretty nice.....it's the upgraded one. I have no complaints and it seems to have plenty of bass.

 

Does seem to have more bass then a 2007 Avalanche - might just be because of the smaller cab size though.

 

The Monsoons offered in the T sound "good". The 7speaker Monsoon offered in the regular H3 sounds AMAZING.

 

Im happy with my monsoon, but Id like a little more bass. Even if its not about the stereo, the adventure package is amazing.

 

Yep - the subwoofer in the back of the H3 is the big difference. In the T, the rear door panels are 'acoustically built' to optimize bass - but the lack of the sub is noticeable.
