Opinions on 2007 H-3
Hey Folks, I'm looking at a 2007 H-3 (production date: 11/06). SEEMS like a pretty solid truck with some (... perhaps) minor issues (??).
1. The 'tire press low' light is illuminated ( tires inflation seems fine).
2. passenger rear view mirror does not move (I can hear motor running)
3. noticable 'shimmy' above 45 mph (quite possibly tire issue), but I've read about some front drive shaft problems (??).
4. Has a nice GOBI roof rack & a heavy duty brush bar/front bumper (aftermarket).
Anything I should be particularly concerned about for this year? It's a bse model, 3.7 w/ 5-speed (96K). They're asking 16K... here's a link to pics:

Looks in good shape,
Tire pressure low coud be a bad sesnor in the wheels or, since those are aftermarket wheels they may not even have sensors put in them.
Front end shimmy could be anything, bad alignment, wheel / tire out of balance. Tell the dealer to check it out before you commit to buying it.
That's a Tough Country front bumper, not very common, but a very good well made bumper.
Gobi rack is a plus
Tires are a little small 270/60/18 if I'm reading right, and I'm not a fan of white lettering.
Aftermarket trailer hitch would be a problem if using offroad. It hangs down, reducing departure angle and the jerry rigged trailer wiring is amaturish.
I also think H3's look strange without the spare on the rear door.

I own a 2007 H3x,puchased new, few issuses,50K,sensor lights for things like tire pressure, check engine, and most recently(today)codes for emmisions related sensor malfunction,442 and 455 (small leak and large leak). My mechanic says to address this before my emmissions test THIS YEAR so it`s minor but makes me want reboot the computer and hope changing the sensors out or at least checking and cleaning them might do the trick. Good Luck with your purchase.
Have the same Jet Stage 1 installed(by yours truely),wondering why the removal of the chip.I`m currently experienceing possible electronic issues and i`m concerned that perhaps over the time that has elapsed since it was installed(07-08)false codes are being read.Currently(today)442 and 455 was read, but then when my mechanic unpluged(to look up the code)and pluged in again to double check,THE CODES WERE GONE! My check engine light went off my 2007 H3x seemed to drive O.K. Then the check (Tire pressure sensor)light came on.WTF. Any thoughts would help.
