I've been running the Firestone MT's for about 5k. Initially I was planning to return them after absolutely horrible performance on snow/ice covered paved roads. I siped them myself with a heated siping tool and it made a huge difference. The tire's bite was dramatically improved on snow covered streets. Off-road winter driving(2ft. of snow) was excellent as well. On the street these tires are the quietest radial MT's I have ever run, hands down(i've run almost everything both bias and radial). The tires look similar to the old BFG mud terrains but handle better, wear better, have much better wet traction, and sound much quieter with no annoying hum. These are my new favorite.
