My God..it's hard to believe I was married before some of you were born...28 years this September sometime..after this many years accuracy doesn't matter as long as I get the Month right.

My wife and I were sitting at a table at my high school
reunion, and I kept staring at a drunken lady swigging
her drink as she sat alone at a nearby table.
My wife asks, "Do you know her?"
"Yes," I sighed, "She's my old girlfriend. I understand
she took to drinking right after we split up those many years
ago,and I hear she hasn't been sober since."
"My God!" says my wife, "Who would think a person could
go on celebrating that long?"
So you see, there really are 2 ways to look at everything

uh, your wife can stop counting, but you - never. mrs. bus and i agreed to dismiss all typical holidays, but anniversaries are off limits. for some reason, they feel it's a special time. i don't get it

Thanks. You're telling me! It seems like just a few months have gone by. I think it's because we've moved 3 times since we got married and never really settled in to one place. Now that we have our house, we can't afford to go out so we have no choice but to settle in and hope our sofa's don't get too soft
