Undecided on an antenna... I will have 2 antennas!

 

On my 2005 H2 the Onstar was moved to the overhead console and a factory cd changer was installed and hooked up to the factory head unit since it was not offered on my year. it looks just like our 06 Escalades set up. Instead of the onstar installed facing down shown in the pictures of Contract pilot it was installed on the end of the overhead console facing the sunroof. it looks like it was factory done.

 

The Center picture above shows the dash. il try to get one up of the overhead unit.

 

I have seen a lot of photos online with it in the overhead looks like a popular spot.

 

Where did you put the sun roof control?

 

Nothing was moved. the onstar was installed on the end. drew on the pic you put up. its storming outside or I would take a pic for you

 

I put in three Coment dual band antennas on NMO mounts in the roof and put a Little Tar Heal II on the back. Made a custom mount to put it on the vents in the rear so it is up real high.

I have a switch up there for lights.

 

Was your OnStar always there? The face plate looks different than the one that is on the dash in the radio stack.
