Default OnStar problem

Starting the day I brought my H3 home I have had a small problem with Onstar. When I give it the "Call" command it asks for the nametag, most of the time it works great however maybe 2 out of the 10 times I try it, It just keeps asking for the nametag, no matter how I repeat it, it just asks again and after the 3rd try hangs up. This happens on the freeway, parked, car running, car off and does not matter which nametag I try. Once this happens I can try 100 times and it will not recognise any nametags until I turn off the Ignition and then start it again. Any Ideas, Anyone else have this happen to them?

Geez!...sound like you need to have OnStar run a diagnostic on its own system!!

I contacted Onstar when I received an incoming prank call. They stated, I do get charged a minute every time I connect to Onstar. They credited me 30 minutes for "my inconvenience", even when I told them I was not on the phone for even a full minute. So.... at the minimum, you may want to contact them to reimburse you for the hang-ups/no connections.
Good Luck,

i have a simliar problem...i will give the name tag, and it will say "calling", then long long long pause, then sometimes it will call, and sometimes it will just hang up. Sometimes, after I say call it will hook up right away. It isn't in any one spot, or any one time...thoughts?
