this may belong in audio but didn't know.

I'm currently onVerizon for my mobile phone. Is there any way to sync it with the handsfree system on my 07 H2 without subscribibg to onstar? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I can't find the "how to" in the owner's manual if there is a way to do it. AND maybe the Onstar system is completely different than bluetooth.....really don't know that much about it.

This gadget also has adapter to sync with your phone.

 

I thought I saw an aftermarket bluetooth kit that integrates with onstar. I thought it was from coastaltech. I'll see if I can track it down again.

 

I'm almost 100% sure that you can use your phone without having tho subscribe with OnStar. My salesman was telling me that along as you had Verizon you could do just that. I'm actually going to the dealer today or tomorrow and I'll check.
