Almost anyone will deal these days, even your mortgage company. If you have the cash, they'll deal. It may go like this..."You want how much? Well, things are pretty tight right now and maybe I'll just let it lapse and maybe pick it up again in a few months, unless you can cut me a good deal that would make me keep it..." "Mr. H3, I'll have to check with my supervisor, could I place you on hold?" At that point you know they WILL deal.

Good Luck and good dealing!

Let us know the deals/packages you get, I'm curious to know the pricing in January 2009 when they'll probably have the merged company doing sales

They did for me in April when mine was ready to expire.
I pulled the ole "yea, I wanna do the $77.00 deal"
no problems at all $77.00 for a year...

That's the same $77 deal I got in January. Glad to see they are still doing it.

I called to renew XM yesterday. They lady said the $77 promotion ended 31 May. I told her to go ahead and cancel my account. She placed me on hold, and when she came back the $77 promotion was magically available again.

thanks for the info folks!
