so what are we going to do about crowning a January ROTM winner. Personally I feel that just giving the crown to JD would be wrong as he had like 8 votes before teh spamming started. I think the right thing to do is to sweep the January ROTM under the rug forever and notify JD that due to the Jan rotm mess that he is bieng added to teh February voting. THis is the only fair thing to do as far as I see it.

like I said to impy... I'm not hanging 2z out to dry here... he invited people that have the right to be one this forum anyways to come here and vote... some might stay... and some will not.. he didn't hire a bunch of mexicans to make ghost accounts...

We need Patrick to add a rule to the ROTM: There shall be no spamming/trolling of any other forum boards to solicite votes for any ROTM contestant. Doing so is Spam which is not allowed, is in violation of Forum Rules 5and 7 and can result in a permanent suspension of Hummer Forums membership immediately.

Or somthing like this, whatever Patrick wants, to avoid another mess in the future.

 

exactly Doc...sure what 2z did was not illegal at the time and he didn't hire mexicans to make ghost accounts and vote....but....if I did the same on my fishing forum where I've been a mod for8 years I would have had over 1000 votes very easily. That is why I dropped out...I was enjoying the whole voting thing and didn't want to quit but I did on principle.

I'm not trying to argue with ya muddy... I agree to a point...but inviting any outside member would be spamming IMO. And I'm one of about 15 hummer owners on my fishing board.
