I picked up my hummer h2 last night and im waiting for an oil filter to arrive from the states so I can take it to get the oil changed. The hummer didnt come with any type of manuals or anything so any idea what grade of oil and how much of it, etc I use?

 

6 quarts of 5w-30 synthetic

 

This is for a 2003, but most of the same applies... other than the oil filter number... that is different...

Just changed mine 6 quarts of mobile one 5w-30

 

If I was you I would order 3-5 more filters and have them on hand so you can have your oil changed without having to wait for a filter.

Thats what I run as well. Mobil 1 5w30 and Wix oil filter!
