I got six qts. of Mobil 1 and a K&N filter lined up ready to go. Crawl underneath and can't get to the damn filter. This was definatly a bad design. I have never taken my car for an oil change but I guess I am now.[:@]

 

just take off the skidplate the filter is right there.

 

alot of people complain about the skid plate...but if youve ever seen a car with a punctured oil filter/cooked motor, you wouldnt mind so much..

 

You're gonna need another qt..it takes a little over 6 qts to fill with filter...make sure you fill the filter before you screw it on.

The skid pan bolts and drain plug are all 13MM size.

 

I have a thread here with a detailed step by step and what tools you need. Do a search for it, should be a big help.
